Cation 220Na – India is a strong acid-base cation exchange resin, colloidal, produced from the process of sulfonation of polymeric polymeric compounds from polystyrene.
Indion 220Na is a product of Ion Exchange Group, manufactured in India since 1964 and exported to the US, UK, Japan, Russia, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, etc.
The main use of Indion 220Na Resin – India is to soften water, demineralize, Strong Acid Cationic Resin removes Ca2+, Mg2+ ions that cause water hardness and replaces them with Na+ ions. When all Na+ ions have been replaced by calcium and magnesium ions, it is time to regenerate the strong acid cation exchange resin with a pure salt solution.
